Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED 24 AUGUST 2026
UnivAdmitHelp respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use and store it, and the choices available to you. It applies to this web site and to every service we provide. By using this site or engaging our services, you consent to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We collect information in two ways — information you give us directly, and information gathered automatically as you use the site.
Information you provide includes your name, email address, telephone number, country of residence, the student’s current grade or academic stage, and any academic details, transcripts, test scores, or written work you choose to share in the course of an enquiry or engagement.
- Contact details submitted through enquiry forms, session bookings, or mailing list sign-ups;
- Academic information shared for the purpose of assessment and mentoring;
- Payment and billing details, processed by our payment providers and not stored by us;
- Correspondence between you and our team;
- Technical data collected automatically, including IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, and the pages you view on this site.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information only for purposes connected to the service you have asked for, or where we have a legal obligation to do so.
- To respond to enquiries and arrange consultations or sessions;
- To deliver, administer, and improve the programme you have enrolled in;
- To communicate with you about your engagement, including scheduling and deadlines;
- To send newsletters or updates, where you have subscribed to receive them;
- To understand how the site is used so that we can improve our resources;
- To comply with accounting, tax, and other legal requirements.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use student academic information for any purpose beyond delivering and improving the service you requested.
Cookies and Tracking
This site uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to keep the site functioning, remember your preferences, and understand which pages and resources visitors find useful. Essential cookies are required for the site to operate. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional, and you may decline them without losing access to any part of this site.
You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Where your browser transmits a Do Not Track signal, we honour it and disable analytics and marketing cookies for your visit.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent necessary for them to perform their function. These include scheduling platforms, email delivery services, payment processors, cloud storage providers, and analytics services. Each is bound by contract to process data solely on our instructions and to maintain appropriate safeguards.
We may also disclose information where required to do so by law, by court order, or by a regulatory authority, or where necessary to protect our legal rights.
Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or for as long as the law requires.
- Enquiry records where no engagement follows are retained for two years;
- Records relating to enrolled students are retained for the duration of the engagement and for seven years thereafter, to satisfy accounting obligations;
- Mailing list information is retained until you unsubscribe;
- Technical and analytics data is retained in aggregated form for up to twenty-four months.
Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, and disclosure. Access within our team is limited to those who need it to deliver the service. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Transfers
We work with families in several countries, and some of our service providers store or process data outside your country of residence. Where personal information is transferred across borders, we rely on standard contractual protections and require that the data continues to be safeguarded to the standard described in this policy.
Children and Minors
A substantial part of our work involves students under the age of eighteen. Where the student is a minor, we require that a parent or legal guardian make the initial enquiry and consent to our collection and use of the student’s information. We collect only the information necessary to deliver the programme, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a minor without such consent.
Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may exercise the following rights in relation to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request access to the information we hold and how it is being used;
- Request correction of information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- Request deletion of information where we no longer have grounds to retain it;
- Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time;
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing;
- Request that information be provided in a portable format.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us using the details below. We will respond within thirty days. Every marketing email we send also contains an unsubscribe link.
Third-Party Links
This site contains links to external web sites and may embed third-party content such as video. We do not control those sites or services and are not responsible for their privacy practices. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any external site you visit.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, our services, or the law. The date of the most recent revision appears at the top of this page. Where changes are material, we will make that clear on the site. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
