MBA admission support is like getting a personal coach.

Your counsellor walks with you through the entire journey — programme selection, knowledge-mining for your story anchors, resume, interviews — working in a rigorous, customised way to build your unique narrative with an insider’s view.

Four things to know before you start.

The application cycle defeats more candidates than the acceptance rate does. Four things derail people — and they compound.

Deadlines come faster than you think

Round 1 deadlines begin the first week of September — Harvard first, MIT Sloan a week later. By October, virtually every school’s Round 1 is gone. Well-prepared candidates apply in Round 1, which means the real deadline is months earlier than you think.

Lots to think — before you write

There is a lot to write, and before that, an entire story to think through. Then multiple essay questions across multiple schools — each needing the story reframed, not repeated. Think a lot.

Video essays and multi-media formats

Many schools now ask for essays in video, slide, or story-book form. Writing is much easier than a video shoot — but videos have greater impact, and impactful videos take a lot of practice.

Everything else — with a full-time job

A competitive GMAT is just a hygiene factor. Then referees to secure, letters to shape, a CV to polish, a leadership section to build — all on a tight schedule, all while working full-time.

The programme structure

From programme selection to post-admission.

  1. 01

    Selection

Data and insights aligned with your personality, MBTI assessment and career goals. Which schools to target — from the M7 to the top 30 worldwide.

  2. 02

    Narrative

Built from the salient points of your personal experience, academic background and professional narrative. Coherent, unique, evidence-based.

  3. 03

    Essays

Story elements picked per question. No best answers exist without the toil of multiple rounds of reflection and editing — and impactful videos take practice.

  4. 04

    References

References chosen to match the story and provide evidence. The wrong referee with a good title is worth less than the right one who knows your work.

  5. 05

    Interviews

Multiple rounds of mock interviews — sometimes with multiple counsellors — building the confidence and precision the M7 interview demands.

  6. 06

    Post-selection

Planning after the admit — maximising return on your education investment and securing the job that follows the MBA.

Brainstorming with him on these points was fun and insightful. In the end we had 2-3 solid storyline ideas, which we could successfully develop into…
